Playing
How is my cut scored?
Your error is how far your piece is from the target, in percentage points. Under 0.5 is a Perfect. Cuts under 2 build a streak that multiplies your score. Big misses drain the tolerance bar; when it's empty, the run ends.
Swiping is hard for me. Is there another way to cut?
Yes. Turn on Settings ▸ Controls ▸ "Tap two points to cut": tap where the cut starts, then where it ends. There's also a left-handed layout and a Reduce effects option.
What are bosses?
Every fifth level is a boss that changes one rule, such as a 10% target or a shape that vanishes when you touch. Land enough accurate cuts to beat it.
When do the Daily Ten and the weekly Sprint reset?
The Daily Ten changes every day at 00:00 UTC. The Sprint and the weekly challenges change every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Everyone gets the same shapes. Your first Daily Ten each day is the ranked one; after that you can practise.
Slivers and Halves Plus
What are Slivers?
Slivers are earned by playing: accurate cuts, clearing levels, beating bosses, the Daily Ten, weekly challenges and the daily gift. Spend them on papers, blades and continues. Slivers can't be bought, traded or exchanged for money.
What does Halves Plus include?
Halves Plus is a one-time purchase that unlocks every paper and blade. It's cosmetic only: it never changes scoring, continues or leaderboards.
I bought Halves Plus but it isn't showing.
Open Settings in the game and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If you're in Family Sharing, the purchase can take a moment to appear.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Use Settings ▸ Purchases ▸ Request a refund in the game, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Progress and Game Center
Will my progress transfer to a new iPhone?
Your progress is saved on your iPhone and is included in your iCloud or computer backup. Restoring that backup to a new iPhone brings it back. Deleting the app deletes your progress. Halves Plus can always be restored from the App Store.
My scores aren't on the leaderboard.
Sign in to Game Center in the iPhone Settings app. Only ranked results post: endless runs without a continue, your first finished Daily Ten of the day, and finished Sprints. Scores made offline post the next time you open the game, as long as that day or week hasn't ended.
Why didn't my run count toward my best score?
Runs that used a continue don't count toward your best score, leaderboards or one-run challenges. That keeps rankings fair.

Halves collects no personal data and has no ads or tracking. Read the privacy policy.
