HALVES

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

In short:

This policy explains how the Halves iPhone app ("Halves", "the app") handles information. Halves is published by Matthew John Barker, trading as rfsecops ("we", "us"). If you have questions, contact us at the address at the end of this page.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Halves has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. We do not receive your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or usage data.

Information stored on your device

To save your game, Halves stores the following on your iPhone only: your progress (scores, levels, Slivers, badges, shape album, Daily Ten calendar, Sprint times and weekly challenge progress), the cosmetics you own and use, and your settings. This data never leaves your device except as part of your own iCloud or computer backups, which are controlled by you and Apple. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Game Center (optional)

If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, Halves sends your ranked scores (endless, Daily Ten and Sprint) and the achievements you earn to Game Center, so they can appear on leaderboards. Your Game Center nickname and scores may be visible to other players. This data is processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we do not receive or store it. You can sign out of Game Center, or change who can see your profile, in the Settings app on your iPhone. Halves works fully without Game Center.

Purchases (optional)

Halves Plus is an optional in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. The app checks with Apple, on your device, whether you own Halves Plus. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Sharing your results

When you tap Share on a Daily Ten or Sprint result, the app opens the standard iPhone share sheet with a short text summary. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to send it.

Advertising and tracking

Halves shows no ads and does not track you across apps or websites. It contains no analytics or advertising code. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for any permission the law or Apple requires.

Children

Halves does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), because it does not collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Your on-device data is under your control: delete the app to remove it. For Game Center or App Store data, contact Apple through its privacy page.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Halves handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change reaches the app.
